1 person killed, 1 injured in shooting at a shopping center in Indiana
A young man was killed and another injured in a shooting at an Indianapolis mall Tuesday night, police said.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened just before 8 p.m. near the Castleton Square shopping center in the city’s northeast.
Capt. Mike Lipper said the man is in stable condition.

A third person, an adult, is cooperating with law enforcement and is currently a person of interest, Lipper said.
Police believe there was an altercation in the parking lot before the shooting.

“Based on the information we have, we have no reason to believe there is any danger to the public and we believe all parties involved have been arrested,” Lipper said.
