Nigerian striker Leke James scored one goal as Malmö (from Sweden) hosted Sivasspor (Turkish club) at the Eleda Stadium. The match (which was played on Thursday night) was the first leg of the 2022/23 UEFA Europa League (UEL) qualifying series. He scored the second goal of the match as the home side finished the game with a 3–1 win.

The Swedish hosts started better and their efforts were rewarded with a goal in the 18th minute.
