I’m so hurt right now! The evening was to be a turning point in my live performances from old to new! A$AP Rocky wrote in a statement. I take full responsibility for the circumstances that led to the show being what it was and what it wasn’t. Also, I want to acknowledge that even though I put on the best show for my fans, over the course of MONTHS… he continued. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see my vision through and I’m hurt by it, I have to apologize to my fans in general and other supporters and thank you all for showing up for me anyway!!

A$AP Rocky Issues Apology After His Rolling Loud New York Set Was Shorten
The Harlem rapper takes full responsibility for stopping the set after months of preparation. Rolling Loud New York was a notable event this year, such as Kanye West’s surprise appearance during Playboi Carti’s set, Lil Tjay’s first appearance after the shooting, and the removal of New York rappers from NYPD arrangements. One of the most anticipated sets of the weekend, regardless, was headliner and New York native A$AP Rocky. His set on Saturday, despite being supercharged and assisted by guests Glorilla and French Montana, was stopped after just 30 minutes. The unexpected ending was due to Rocky’s late performance and a strict time limit implemented by police authorities and F**kin’ Issues, the rapper took to Twitter to make an announcement saying “I’m sorry” for the incident.
Despite the fact that he’s only played around nine songs and looks exceptionally dejected in footage of the show, he actually delivered an insane set with fiery features and, surprisingly, the crowd. In the comments, many fans were considerate of Flack’s circumstances and showed their help. Others criticized his recklessness, while some just wanted to know when the next album would be released. Speaking of which, A$AP Rocky said this set will be his last before he drops a new project. We were recently prompted by pictures of Rihanna and A$AP in the studio together, so ideally this set seems to herald the next phase of his release and a big return for the 33-year-old. While it’s frustrating that his show was cut, it’s also gratifying to see that Rocky really does think about his art and his fans often, and will likely continue to try to give them something to be proud of.
Maybe next time don’t waste 10 minutes between songs and actually rap your verses to the songs
