Airtel on Monday launched three new Xstream Fiber broadband packs starting at Rs. 699 per month, it offers internet access as well as over 350 TV channels. Airtel’s new broadband packages, called ‘All in One’, offer access to 17 over-the-top (OTT) platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar and Netflix. Broadband packages should also offer ‘zero’ installation costs and free rental for the first month. Customers need to purchase Airtel 4K Xstream TV Box to get network TV content and OTT access on TV.
The new All-in-One Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband packages are offered with a monthly rental fee. 699, Rs. 1,099 and Rs. 1599. The plans offer unlimited data access with a fair usage policy (FUP) of 3333 GB per month.
In addition to unlimited data, Xstream Fiber broadband plans also provide access to Airtel Xstream Premium, which offers a single connection for 14 over-the-top (OTT) apps including SonyLIV, ErosNow, Lionsgate Play and Hungama Play. The plans also offer access to over 350 TV channels that customers can get after purchasing the Airtel 4K Xstream Box, available for a one-time payment of Rs. 2000.
The new Airtel Broadband packages also offer Airtel Black Priority Care with a dedicated relationship manager.
As for the main difference, Rs. 699 Airtel broadband plan offers 40 Mbps speed while the Rs. 1099 plan offers 200 Mbps and Rs. 1599 gives a speed of 300 Mbps.
Rs. 699 plan comes with access to Disney+ Hotstar in addition to Airtel Xstream Premium. However, Rs. 1099 plan comes with Amazon Prime and Disney+ Hotstar, while the Rs. 1,599 plan provides access to Netflix in addition to two other OTT services.
