Brazilian soccer player Dani Alves is being investigated for alleged sexual assault in Barcelona last month, Catalonia’s High Court confirmed on Tuesday.

“The Court of Instruction No. 15 of Barcelona opened a case for the crime of sexual violence following a complaint filed by a woman against a football player in connection with an incident in a nightclub in Barcelona. Barcelona last December,” the court said.
