Having crossed the $1 trillion market cap this week, the crypto sector is seeing bullish sentiment with many new investors entering the digital asset space. Indian exchange CoinDCX on Monday, January 23 launched a crypto awareness initiative for Indian industries and investors. The name of this initiative is “Namaste Web3”. On the other hand, international cryptocurrency exchange Binance has decided to enter 2023 with its Web3 scholarship program, which will host 30,000 people.

People working with India and many other countries to develop legislation around the crypto sector will be ready to engage in investment and trading tools.

With its outreach initiative, CoinDCX seeks to educate potential crypto-investors about the risks and benefits of investing in digital assets.

“Web3 technology has opened up a huge space for innovators and builders. However, mass adoption of this technology is possible only through continuous training. With Namaste Web3, we provide the voice and visibility to inform the ecosystem about the use cases and benefits of this technology,” said Sumit Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of CoinDCX.

Crypto awareness tours are organized in various cities of India including Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Indore and Kolkata.

Workshops on what to expect from Web3 and how to build decentralized applications (dAapps) using blockchain will also be part of Namaste Web3.

Since this initiative started in India, Binance has decided to raise awareness about cryptocurrency with its Binance Charity Scholar Program (BCSP). Under this program, more than 30,000 people will be eligible for scholarships and blockchain training.

BCSP trains developers on how to use Web3 to build advanced next-generation applications and platforms.

The University of Western Australia, the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany and technology hub Utiva in Nigeria have agreed to participate as educational partners in the BCSP initiative.

Adoption of crypto, NFT and the metaverse will explode this year as many brands and companies try to outdo each other for visibility among local Web3 audiences.
