Darius Rucker arrested in Tennessee, sheriff’s office says

Singer Darius Rucker was arrested in Tennessee, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. Rucker was charged with simple possession, casual exchange and violation of registration law. He was released on a $10,500 bond on Thursday, the sheriff’s office said. Rucker’s Grammy award-winning band Hootie and the Blowfish has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.In 2008, he released his first country album and went on to have four No. 1 albums on the Billboard country chart.
