Shares of Apple rose 2.0% in early trading Friday, leading the list of the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s best-performing components for the day. Since the beginning of the year, Apple has shown a growth of 14.5%.
The Dow’s worst-performing component today was Travelers Companies, down 0.8%. Travelers business is down about 3.0% year-to-date.
Two other components moving today: The Dow is down 0.8% and Cisco Systems is up 1.4% on the day.
