Dwayne Johnson shares clip about kids crowdsurfing

Dwayne Johnson recently took to his Instagram to share a video from a recent fan event at Diego Rivera’s museum for his upcoming superhero film Black Adam.

In the clip, we can see how the audience tenderly hands babies to each other. In addition, Johnson reaches out to the child when he was near the stage.

The 50-year-old captioned the post: “Our BLACK ADAM tour was electric, fun and emotional. People are crying and handing me things – I was NOT SURPRISED to have this beautiful little baby.”

He added: “Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes as he held her up high and gestured for me to hold her.”

In addition, Johnson claimed that he initially thought the child was a toy doll.

He remarked, “I honestly thought he was holding a doll he wanted me to get as a present.”

Additionally, the Baywatch star continued, “This beautiful, calm, present and trusting angel is Luciana. One day I bet he will inspire everyone around him.”

Johnson concluded in a statement, “And whatever this moment meant to her emotional father — it means it meant something special to me, too. Girls’ dads ROCK.”

Social media users are criticizing Dwayne Johnson for this stunt

Netizens were not as impressed with the stunt as many expressed concern over how the child was held during crowd surfing.

Subsequently, others slammed the audience for the alleged lack of support for the child’s neck.

User wrote: ‘What’s going on here?’

The other said, “The kid has no idea what’s going on.”

A third sarcastically commented: “Having your newborn hand off to random people in the crowd during a pandemic. What could go wrong.’

Additionally, another user pointed out, “I personally would never let so many strangers touch my child.”

Meanwhile, a few users compared the controversial moment to a scene from Darren Aronofsky’s thriller Mother!

They claimed: ‘Do you all remember that scene in the horror movie Mother!?’

Someone else chimed in, “Hmmm I’m giving it to my mother! vibration…’

Additionally, some users blamed the child’s parents for agreeing to the viral video.

One user commented: ‘That dad has some explaining to do when he gets home.’
