‘Father sexually abused her as a child’: Leader of Delhi Women’s Council

“I was so scared when he came home that I often hid under the bed,” she said.
New Delhi:
Days after actress and National Commission for Women (NCW) member Khushboo Sundar said she was sexually abused by her father as a child, Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal made a similar chilling statement.
“When I was little, my father sexually abused me. He beat me a lot. “When he came home, I was very scared and often hid under the bed,” she said, adding that she planned every night how to help women earn their living and teach men who exploit children.
Ms. Maliwal detailed her ordeal, saying her father grabbed her by the tail and slammed her head against the wall. “I used to bleed from the head from the blow. “I believe that when a person suffers a lot of abuse, only then will he understand the pain of others and ignite a fire that will shake the whole system,” he says.

According to Ms. Maliwal, she lived with her father until her fourth year of school and had visited several times during that time.
Khushbu Sundar said on Monday that she was sexually abused by her father at the age of 8, which she called the most “tough” thing ever.
“Not to forget, not to forgive, but to leave behind and move on, the most difficult thing is the abuse of my father when I was a child. “If a child is abused, it will be scarred for life,” he says.
