Simon Cowell Company SyCo is being sued by former X-Factor contestants

Simon Cowell’s production company is reportedly facing a multi-million dollar claim from previous contestants on the reality talent show known as The X Factor, according to a report. The Daily Mirror reports that the TV show, which has been running for quite some time, has left five independent contestants and one group act dejected.

One of the previous performers discussed “tears, hurt and distress” and each of the six acts claim the X Factor sequel has sparked alleged bullying, mistreatment and neglect. The plaintiffs are moving to the law firm to sue for the £1 million (NZ$1.92 million) excess.

The report did not name the people involved, but said one petitioner described the experience of appearing on the show as a terrible experience that left him suffering for years. Me and the five previous acts have agreed to unite and get the justice we think we deserve. The artist added that each of the six felt their caring potential was limited by the reliable effects of their alleged trauma.

Simon Cowell must take responsibility, the accuser said in the Daily Mirror. We lost a huge amount of money from not bringing in cash in our lives to deal with the trauma that really came out of that show.
