BTS’s Jin has canceled his military service deferment request as BigHit Music revealed that the member is ready to enlist in 2022.

The K-pop star will also release his solo single album at the end of October before enlisting in the military.

According to BTS’ label BigHit Music, Jin will enlist in the Korean military at the end of this year. An official statement said, “Group member Jin will begin the process once his solo release schedule is finalized at the end of October. This will be followed by the inclusion procedure of the Korean government.

BTS Jin recently made headlines after winning The Fact Music Awards Fan N Star Choice Award Individual at the 2022 ceremony.

Now, the K-pop star is releasing her first solo single album in October before enlisting in the military.

The 29-year-old Grammy-nominated K-pop star teased fans that he collaborated with someone he looks up to on the album.

While fans don’t know the details of the mysterious collaboration, one thing is confirmed, Jin’s solo album will set new records, just as his OST Yours became the most streamed song on the Global Shazam Chart!

How long will BTS ARMY have to wait for Jin’s military discharge?

According to the rules of the Korean government, all healthy individuals serve 18 months in the military. If Jin enlists at the end of 2022, fans can expect the K-pop star to be discharged from the military by 2024.

BigHit Music has announced that BTS will reunite as a group by 2025. So more members will follow in Jin’s footsteps and sign up by next year.

Speaking of their onboarding plan, fan he remarked, “will be active individually before departure and after release. Jin will be released in mid-2024 and the rest will follow. Until then, there will be individual releases.”
