Longtime broadcaster Jim Nantz didn’t mince words when he got hit during LIV Golf’s latest on-air bout.

Nantz, who was invited to televise CBS’s PGA Championship on Thursday, signed the rival circuit shortly after Dustin Johnson’s departure.

Nantz credited Johnson for winning the recent LIV event, but also shed some light on the pressing issues facing LIV.

“I don’t know if you ever had a chance to see him, but he had a playoff game winner last week in Tulsa against Cam Smith and Branden Grace,” Nantz said.

Several CW partners recently decided to cancel the LIV Golf playoff event before it began due to the length of the broadcast.

LIV has an agreement with The CW to broadcast its events in the United States.

Viewers who wanted to continue watching the show had to turn to the network’s streaming platform to watch the episode’s conclusion.

Nantz may soon add Roast Master to his resume after this latest move.

Last month, a golf, basketball and football announcer raised eyebrows when he described Brooks Koepka’s performance on the 15th hole in the third round.
