Kanye West’s Twitter and Instagram accounts have been locked due to posts the rapper made that were deemed anti-Semitic. A spokesperson for social media platform Twitter and Instagram parent Meta said on Sunday that Ye posted messages that violated their policies. In a tweet sent late Saturday, Ye said he would soon go to death con 3 on JEWISH People, according to Internet Archive records. In the same tweet which has been deleted by Twitter, he said that you all were playing with me and trying to blackmail whoever goes against your plan. Ye was recently reprimanded for wearing a White Lives Matter shirt in his collection at Paris Fashion Week. Rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs posted a video on Instagram saying he did not endorse the shirt and urged individuals not to wear it.

On Instagram, Ye posted a screenshot of a text conversation with Diddy and suggested that he is controlled by Jews, as reported by the media. According to their policies, the two social networks prohibit the publication of any offensive language. For now, Ye’s Twitter account is still active, but he cannot post until it is suspended, after an undefined period. Meta, which owns both Facebook and Instagram, occasionally imposes restrictions on accounts it says repeatedly violate its rules. Sanctions may temporarily limit posting, commenting, or sending direct messages. Ye returned to Twitter on Saturday after a nearly two-year hiatus, reportedly after Instagram locked his account.
