Look Both Ways landed on Netflix on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

The film, originally titled Plus/Minus, tells the story of Natalie (Lili Reinhart), who is preparing for graduation.

However, on the eve of the ceremony, Natalie’s life diverges into two parallel realities: in one, she becomes pregnant and stays in her hometown, and in the other, she moves to Los Angeles to start a new chapter in her life.

Along both journeys, Natalie experiences life-changing experiences in relationships, pursuing her dream career as an artist, and rediscovering herself and where she wants her life to go next.

Who composed the score?

In addition to the film’s licensed songs, Look Both Ways also features a bright and spirited yet highly emotional score by Ian Hultquist, his wife Sofia Hultquist, also known as Drum & Lace.

The songwriting duo has worked on a number of projects together with notable credits such as the Apple TV+ series Dickinson, the Netflix vampire film Night Teeth, Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer and NBC’s Good Girls.

To coincide with the release of Look Both Ways, the emotional score for the film was released as an album and can be found on Spotify and Apple Music.
