Max’s streaming service will be the exclusive home for “Penguin,” along with other originals

The opening of Warner Bros. has revealed more about its newly rebranded streaming service, Max, at a press conference on Wednesday. Content announcements at the event revealed new trailers for Max’s original series The Penguin and SmartLess: On the Road, as well as HBO’s series order for the game’s prequel. The previously announced Penguin show is a Matt Reeves Batman spinoff and stars Colin Farrell as the new King of Gotham. Max’s original series will consist of eight episodes and will air in 2024. You can watch the new teaser below.

SmartLess: On the Road, also previously reported to be in the works, follows actors and friends Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes on their popular North American podcast tour. Here’s a new trailer for this original Max documentary coming out May 23rd.

HBO originals such as Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Knight of the Hedge will air on Max. The series takes place 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones, when “two unlikely heroes wander Westeros…a naive but brave young knight, Ser Duncan the Great, and his little squire, Egg,” the newspaper network said. .
