The Biden administration has signaled its unwillingness to negotiate with congressional Republicans on a fast-approaching debt ceiling solution. House Libertarian Congressman Barry Moore (R-AL) said it was a display of “arrogance” by Democrats and the Biden administration.
Moore said that they accept the American people as their “subjects”.
The Alabama Republican lawmaker said: “Before we got the House this time, it was like when they had one-party rule in D.C. and it was just arrogance.” “Oh, by the way, the Americans are our subjects, we do as we please.” President Biden really wants to be king. If he had the means, he would take a clean debt ceiling and do whatever he wanted to do. We will not allow this. We will fight every step of the way. So we need to nip it in the bud and give our Senate something to fight for.”
