Steven Cooper’s Nottingham Forest are reportedly ready to beat Frank Lampard’s Everton to the signature of Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis.

The Express reported last month that Everton are among the clubs interested in signing Dennis from Watford in the summer transfer window.
The report claimed the Toffees were in talks with the 24-year-old striker’s agent.
West Ham United and Southampton have also held talks with Dennis’s representatives.
Everton sold Richarlison to Tottenham Hotspur and Dominic Calvert-Lewin had injury problems.
So the Toffees could certainly do with a striker, especially one who has played in the Premier League.
Dennis joined Watford from Club Brugge in the summer of 2021.
The striker scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 30 Premier League starts for the Hornets last season.

However, Nottingham Forest now look set to beat Everton, West Ham and Southampton to the signature of the Nigeria international star.
The Athletic are reporting this morning that Forest have accepted their £20m bid for Dennis Watford.
The Reds, who play in the Premier League this season after winning promotion from the Championship, have also agreed personal terms with the Nigerian star.
