Ohio human trafficking arrests 10 men, including illegal alien

Ten men, including an illegal alien and a college teacher, were arrested Thursday in an Ohio human trafficking case on suspicion of promoting prostitution and other sex-related charges.
The men, ages 30 to 55, were arrested in North Olmsted by members of the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force.
The arrests were part of a day-long operation by the North Olmsted Police Department, the Westshore Bureau of Law Enforcement and the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to identify those selling and buying commercial sex.
“Yesterday was an important day for the task force,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said Friday.

One of the men arrested, 35-year-old Errol Jackson of Lorain, is a Level III registered sex offender, according to the Attorney General’s Office. She was arrested for solicitation of prostitution, a fourth-degree felony, and is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail. In this case, additional costs are expected.
During Operation North Olmsted, seven potential victims of human trafficking were identified and received resources from several agencies that assisted the task force.
