Pence is the latest person to come under intense scrutiny after classified documents were found at his Indiana home

Laura Barron-Lopez:

A lawyer for the former vice president said he believed the documents were “inadvertently boxed” and unknowingly delivered to Pence at his home late in the Trump administration.

After discovering the materials, Pence and his attorneys notified the National Archives. His lawyer wrote in the letter – quote – “Vice President Pence understands the great importance of protecting classified and classified information and is ready and willing to cooperate fully.”

I’m joined by Larry Pfeiffer to learn more about what that means. He is the director of the Hayden Center, which is responsible for intelligence policy.

Larry, thank you so much for joining us.
