Realtor Reveals Exactly Where The ‘Unsuspecting’ Entrance To Secret Room Is

A realtor in the U.K. has stunned her digital audience with a video tour of an unsuspecting London townhouse that hides a secret passageway in its downstairs bathroom.

The viral video, which has been viewed more than 310,000 times since it was first shared to TikTok on November 3, featured an insider peak at the unusual bathroom that housed the secret door.

The realtor, Tanya Baker, showed viewers that what looked like a standard clothing hook on the wall of the bathroom could be twisted to reveal a red button, which operated a lift-up door that doubles as a sidewall in the bathroom (right next to the toilet), and a flight of steep stairs that lead down to a basement.

“This is their unsuspecting downstairs bathroom,” Baker said in the video.

“[The current owners have] decided to make full use of the basement room, so they’ve put in a really cool garage hinge-lift system on the door leading down to the cellar space,” she added.

Although the low-lit basement emitted a rather unsettling atmosphere, Baker assured audiences that the hidden room was simply being used as a storage suite.

“I can promise you nothing is going to jump out, there’s nothing scary down here. It’s just really great storage space. It’s the brains of the house. So, they’ve got their WiFi and their electronics down here [at the moment],” the realtor explained.

After showing the basement off, Baker went back upstairs and showed viewers that the hidden door could be pushed down and sealed again with the push of the same red button behind the hook.

“And then the door closes and it’s back to being the same,” Baker said, as she demonstrated how the secret door can be closed.

The realtor added that the property belongs to one of her clients and that it’s currently available for rent.
