Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy A34 5G Unveiled, Teases Pre-Debut Color Options, Specs

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G, the company’s next mid-range A-series smartphones, are expected to launch this month. Ahead of the launch of the two phones, the German publication announced the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G color options. The report also offered additional specifications of the rumored smartphones while revisiting earlier suggestions for Samsung’s affordable A-series 5G smartphone duo running Android 13-based One UI 5.0.

WinFuture has released high-quality marketing images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. These renders suggest that Samsung’s smartphones will feature a design language similar to its Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones. This appears to be consistent with a previous report that made a similar claim based on low-quality leaked images.

The latest report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G smartphones will have completely flat front and back designs. However, the rear triple camera module of both smartphones seems to be slightly protruding from the plastic casing. Additionally, the bezels around the screen are also slightly thicker and wider than previous leaks.

Additionally, the leaked images suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G may be available in green, purple and black (translated from German) color variants. Additionally, a fourth white color is planned for the Galaxy A54 5G, while the Galaxy A34 5G may come in a Gradient Hue color option.

The report seems to back up previous claims that the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G will sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1380 octa-core. The triple rear camera setup of the Galaxy A54 5G is expected to be led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel third sensor.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A34 5G is expected to sport a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a notch. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6877V SoC. However, according to the report, the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone will feature a toned-down camera setup led by a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies, the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone now comes with a 13-megapixel camera.

Both smartphones pack a 5,000mAh battery and run Android 13 One UI 5.0 out of the box, along with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. A previous report had suggested that the two smartphones might be launched by Samsung on March 15, while another report suggested that the Galaxy A34 5G might start at around Rs. 36,200, while the Galaxy A54 5G could cost around Rs. 49,000.

However, it should be noted that there has been no word from Samsung about the company’s plans to launch the new A-series smartphones or their specifications, design and pricing.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 smartphones were launched earlier this week and the South Korean company’s high-end handsets have seen several updates across all three models. What about price increases?
