San Francisco 49ers fans enjoy a dry overall game against the Seattle Seahawks, followed by a postgame shower.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) — 49ers fans enjoyed a very dry day at Levis Stadium on Saturday for the team’s playoff game against the Seahawks.
After the game, fans were high not only for staying dry, but for the 49ers to win.
A wild crowd in jackets and ponchos can be seen at Levi’s Stadium as fans leave after a 49ers win.
“I was ready. Thank God the weather was perfect,” said Janet Stortz.

Fans who left the stadium said they didn’t even have to wear raincoats during the game.
“You know, if it rains, it rains. You know, we have no control over it. Everything went well. It was a good day. It was great,” Stortz said.
Fans say they were worried when the heaviest rain fell in the morning, but clear skies soon after kick-off made the game atmosphere exciting.
You might even call them lucky because right at the end of the game, as people were walking to their cars, there was a downpour in the parking lot.

This still did not dampen their spirits.
“I came with a poncho. I came in a tracksuit and a fluffy coat. I came in thinking, ‘It’s going to rain, so have fun,'” Dwayne Simmons said.
Simmons says he was nervous at first about the rain. But he said he was glad he didn’t have to endure it during the game.
“It started, it started raining. He fell a little harder. After that it stopped. It was a bit of a relief. We have the sun. Overall the rain was so cool, man. It was really good,” he said.

He hopes the rain will pave the way for the 49ers to make the playoffs.
“I was planning to go to the Super Bowl. I have the next one, the next one, and the Super Bowl. Keep the faith. Stay strong. Go Niners,” Simmons said.
With the win, the 49ers will have another home game at Levi’s Stadium next week.
Fans are hoping next week’s game will feature a California day.
