Securemyscholarship raises new funding round to expand its platform in India

SecureMyScholarship is a marketplace where students can find tuition waivers or partial scholarships at over 400 colleges and universities in Dubai, the US, Canada and the UK.

According to the SecureMyScholarship website, students from more than 25 countries have received a total of more than $5.5 million in scholarships since the inception of the SecureMyScholarship program. According to its website, the mission of the platform is to make higher education accessible and affordable for all students, regardless of where they live or where they come from.

According to the company’s CEO and founder, Craig Fernandez, “In many cases, the only thing stopping a student from getting into a top university or studying abroad is money. Literally so. We don’t think it’s fair and we wanted to do something about it. This is why SecureMyScholarship was born.

Craig added, “Although we are based in Dubai, our founding team is all Indian and we want to do our part as Indians in taking India’s growth story forward. Every year 12 million Indians turn 18 and almost all of them dream of studying abroad. Only a few can achieve this dream. We want to change that and help young India realize its full potential.

With SecureMyScholarship.com, students can search for institutions or courses based on location, budget, or educational level requirements, and sort by ranking, annual tuition, or popularity. After the pre-application has been submitted, a SecureMyScholarship representative will contact the student to assist with the next steps toward higher education.
