The 49er Faithful headed into Allegiant Stadium Sunday afternoon as final countdown to the team’s showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, confident that the Niners would emerge on top.

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri fired up the eats at his massive tailgate party behind Caesar’s Forum. The event was part food festival, part music-festival with no shortage of enthusiasm for attendees.

“This is the biggest tailgate and party you could ask for!” said one guest, who had received tickets from Fieri himself.

“We’ve got the little taster, and I think we’re on three or four. And everything has been phenomenal,” Sherrie Proctor who was visiting from Montana.

“I’m looking forward to tasting some great food, hanging out with a nice crowd. Everyone’s got good vibes. Ready to have some food!” said DC-Metro area resident Shanita Rowland.

Tailgaters were getting in their last bites before flocking into Allegiant Stadium as game time approached.

In San Francisco, hundreds of fans were gathered at Thrive City outside of the Chase Center, set to watch the game on the arena’s massive outdoor video screen and cheer the 49ers to victory at the team’s official viewing party. Fans were enjoying live music and entertainment from DJ D Sharp and Franco Finn along with game-day activities. It was just one of many public viewing parties across the Bay Area.
