The best steak in South Jersey is in Stone Harbor, New Jersey

Who doesn’t love meatballs.
When it comes to home style and authenticity, it’s hard to find better Italian cuisine than in New Jersey.
The local spot was named to NJ.com’s list of the 25 best meatballs in the entire state. If you’re looking for the best meatballs in South Jersey, you should head south to Stone Harbor to Spiaggetta’s, ranked #24 on the state’s 25 Best Meatballs list. , according to writer Peter Genovese. .
Spiaggetta serves “classic Italian and Roman cuisine”. What is a Roman kitchen? Of course, from Rome; standards include artichoke, cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino romano cheese and black pepper); and pizza al taglio (long-shaped pizza cut with a knife or scissors). The pork, veal and beef meatballs, each Delaware-sized and topped with fresh mozzarella, pesto, béchamel sauce and marinara, are highly recommended.
I’m in Rome in the summer of 2022, and if I can get a meatball that tastes like the meatballs I had in Rome, I’ll be there as soon as they open!
It’s a place I’ve been wanting to try since it recently made a list of the top 50 Italian restaurants in the state, coming in at #33. In this rating, they suggested trying pork, veal and beef balls.
Spiaggetta is currently closed for the season, but will reopen on Valentine’s Day weekend, February 10, from 5 p.m.
Head south to 9800 3rd Avenue in Stone Harbor and see what might be the best meatballs not just in Cape May County, but in all of South Jersey.
I can’t say I’ve had these meatballs, but I’m definitely going to the boardwalk this summer to try one!
