The carjacking suspects were found in a freezer while trying to flee from Capitol Police


Two suspects accused of multiple armed carjackings in Washington were caught and arrested Tuesday after hiding in the outside freezer of a restaurant, according to the US Capitol Police. – United.

Shortly before noon, a police patrol attempted to stop a white BMW sedan believed to be involved in a carjacking on E Street, but the vehicle sped away.

The BMW cut off a Capitol Police van before crashing into a Capitol Police SUV, officials said. Two suspects, believed to be armed and dangerous, ran from the vehicle and hid in a walk-in freezer behind a restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue before being found and arrested.

Capitol Police identified the suspects as Seda Hardy, 18, and Landrell Jordan, 18. According to officials, a high-powered firearm and a magazine were seized.

Hardy and Jordan were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, carrying an unlicensed firearm, reckless driving and assault with a deadly weapon, among other charges.
