The star of “The Study” bought a house in Brooklyn for 1.83 million dollars
The real Shiv Roy bought himself new digs.
Australian actress Sarah Snook started the year in one of New York’s most fashionable neighborhoods. The 35-year-old, who played the only daughter of the Roy family on the hit HBO series, recently lost $1.83 million on a two-bedroom apartment in Williamsburg.
According to city records, the Emmy-nominated celebrity closed its unit in the newly constructed four-story building on Jan. 5, Crain’s reported. Located right next to the Metropolitan Avenue L subway station, the eight-unit residence is due for completion in 2022 and describes itself as “a new luxury condominium located in trendy Williamsburg,” according to its StreetEasy bio.
The symmetrical paneled window design of the smooth reclaimed brick facade is “inspired by the neighborhood’s industrial roots,” the bio continues, while all units are “roof-like” and offer private outdoor space.
Previously listed photos show fully modern apartments with high-end appliances, hardwood floors, white walls and lighting.
Even if he changes his nabes, Snook won’t go far; it was previously leased from Greenpoint. It was in this backyard that she married Australian comedian Dave Lawson in a 2021 wedding, Crain’s reported.

While Snook himself is content with his rather modest apartment in North Brooklyn, his TV persona certainly isn’t.
In the upcoming fourth season of the show, Shiv Roy is all set to live in a penthouse at 270 Broadway in Tribeca.
The unit, located just below Roy’s top trophy block, recently hit the market for $5.99 million and boasts more than 3,500 square feet of space, four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and stunning skyline views, The Post reports.
