The Try Guys tackle the Ned Fulmer controversy

The Try Guys recently shared a “what happened” video on their YouTube channel.

The clip came a week after they announced Ned Fulmer’s departure.

Comedy troupe members Eugene Lee Yang, Zach Kornfeld and Keith Habersberger sat on the couch. They solemnly spoke to the camera.

Habersberger clarified: “We just want you to know that we had no idea this was going on. All of this information was as shocking to us as it was to you this week.”

They also revealed that they have been gradually cutting Fulmer out of their videos in recent weeks.

Kornfeld said, “We want to give you a timeline of what happened and some transparency in our decision-making.”

The Try Guys reveal the timeline of Ned Fulmer’s drama

Keith Habersberger admitted they found out about Ned Fulmer’s infidelity over the Labor Day weekend after several messages from fans.

A Reddit user claims to have seen Fulmer getting intimate with a woman who is not his wife at the same time. The woman was later confirmed to be Try Guys producer and employee Alexandria Herring.

They subsequently said Fulmer was let go from the company on Sept. 16 after a three-week human resources evaluation process.

Habersberger commented, “We decided to take our time with the announcement for several reasons. Namely, there are real people who have been affected by this, and while we see it as a societal issue, the family is also at the center of everything.”

Kornfeld, on the other hand, said, “We are losing a friend. We are losing someone we have built a company with and have countless memories of.’

Fans react to Try Guys new video

Several fans took to social media to support the remaining Try Guys.

One fan wrote: ‘The fact that the #tryguys refused to sweep anything under the rug just because he was their friend makes me respect Eugene, Zach and Keith 100,000% more.’

Another said: ‘No #tryguys are better at apologizing for something they haven’t done than most creators who have done it.’

Meanwhile, another user joked: “Eugene: This is where my friendship with Ned lies. Ashes to ashes, dust to the side chicks.”
