Tiffany Haddish Responds to Child Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

Tiffany Haddish took to her Instagram on Monday to address the issue of child sexual abuse allegations.

She began by saying, ‘I know people have a lot of questions. I get it. I’m there with you.”

The 42-year-old celebrity added: “Unfortunately because there is a legal case going on. There is very little I can say now.’

In addition, the statement read: “But it is clear that while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it was not funny at all. And I deeply regret agreeing to act in it.”

She ended by saying: ‘I’m really looking forward to sharing a lot more about this situation as soon as possible.’

Tiffany Haddish has been sued for child sexual abuse

According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week, Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears were accused of “maintaining and molesting” the two then-underage siblings.

Reports claim the celebrities caused the siblings, identified as Jane Doe (now 22) and John Doe (now 14), to participate in allegedly sexually suggestive videos.

In the lawsuit, Jane mentioned that Haddish taught her how to fake fellatio for a parody in 2013 when she was 14 years old.

Jane wrote: “I tried to imitate what they wanted me to imitate, but it was still very uncomfortable.”

Additionally, a year later in 2014, the Girls Trip actress recruited Jane’s seven-year-old brother in a video titled “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes.”

It was claimed that the video showed Spears lusting after and molesting a seven-year-old child.

However, Haddish’s lawyer, Andrew Brettler, denied the claims. He further claimed that the plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, “has been attempting to make these false claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.”

Brettler added: “Every lawyer who initially took on her case — and there were several — eventually dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were without merit and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken.”

Additionally, he said, “Ms. Morris now has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will face the consequences of this reckless action together.”

Meanwhile, Spears’ attorney Debra Opri mentioned, “She’s not going to fall for any shakedown.”
