Netflix’s new series about Jeffrey Dahmer has garnered a lot of attention as it has become one of the most watched series on the platform. In the midst of this, some people are convinced they caught a glimpse of Jeffrey in the background of an episode of Stranger Things.

Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story has been getting a lot of attention since the series premiered on the platform, but before that, fans had a similar reaction when the final season of Stranger Things dropped.

Now it looks like people on TikTok have found a connection between the two, as they believe they spotted Jeffrey in the background.

TikTok thinks Jeffrey Dahmer was in Stranger Things

Stranger Things managed to make a big splash when it aired on Netflix and it looks like eagle-eyed fans caught a glimpse of something in the background of one of the episodes.

The famous video consists of a clip from Season 4 of the show, in which a boy is seen in the background who looks a lot like Jeffrey due to his clothes.

One of Jeffrey’s most distinctive features is his glasses, and a similar pair is noticed by a child in the series. Therefore, many thought that the show could be referring to a serial killer.

Why this theory is highly unlikely

While the TikTok video managed to create a lot of buzz on the platform, it seems highly likely that the show was referring to Jeffrey.

For starters, the serial killer graduated from high school in 1978, while Stranger Things is set in 1984. Since there is no relationship between the two, the theory seems unfounded.

Added to that, glasses and clothing were a common fashion item at the time, so it’s no surprise that there are many children who have been spotted wearing these fashionable clothes.
