Labor party issues warning to Peter Obi supporters

Ogar Osim, Chairman of the Labor Party in Cross River, has warned party supporters and faithfuls, including the Obidients, against violence and hate speech during the promotion of the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Speaking to newsmen in Calabar on Thursday, Mr. Osim advised on how party supporters should conduct themselves in support of the party.
The advice was important as the party prepared to welcome Mr. Obi to the inauguration of its secretariat donated by one of its senatorial candidates, Daniel Asuquo.
The inauguration of the new party secretariat in Calabar coincides with a two million march for Obi in Cross River.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday criticized the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu, for showing “ungratefulness” and “arrogance” after they helped him win the seat of the National Chairman of the party. .

Kano Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Delta State Governor and Peoples Democratic Party PDP Vice Presidential candidate Ifeanyi Okowa, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared he will not be a dictator if elected President.
Okowa stated this while speaking with journalists in Kano on the sidelines of an event to welcome the former two-term governor of the state, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau back into the party.
He described Atiku as a man who is calm and accommodating to people’s opinions.
Okowa also said his principal would run an inclusive government.

The Supreme Court on Thursday in Abuja clarified its October 14, 2021 judgment on the leadership dispute in the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
According to a statement from the Director of Court Information, Dr. Festus Akande, the clarification was necessary in view of a certain misconception associated with the judgment by some individuals.
Akande noted that the appeal on which the judgment was given was between Chief Jude Okek and APGA and the three respondents.

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has described the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchiu Aya, as an ungrateful politician.
The governor said Ayu broke his earlier promise to resign as the National Chairman of the party if a Northerner emerges as the PDP presidential candidate because there is N14 billion in the coffers of the PDP.
He further stated that since the National Chairman of the PDP does not want reconciliation, his camp is ready to help the PDP lose the 2023 presidential election.
Wike spoke on Thursday at the commissioning of Omerelu Internal Roads in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the State by former PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Chief Olabode George.
