Tottenham pundit says there is only one man who can convince Harry Kane to sign a new contract.

That’s according to former Spurs striker Darren Bent, who says Kane is unsure if he wants to leave the club after talk of a future transfer two years ago.

The club’s top goalscorer is out of contract in 2024 and negotiations over a new deal have been suspended until the summer.

However, Pochettino has been tipped to return to the club and Bent believes that will result in Kane staying put.

“I feel like I’ve been here before with Harry Kane,” he told talkSPORT.

“I don’t see burning ambitions to leave. He did all that with Man City, maybe he did something wrong, and we haven’t talked about it since.

“If Pochettino returns to Tottenham, I think Kane will sign a new contract.”
