50 Cent took over the city of Houston for his annual Tycoon Weekend on Saturday, August 27th. However, Trae Tha Truth and Z-Ro seem to have run into trouble outside of the venue.

Although it’s no secret that Trae Tha Truth and Z-Ro share a strained relationship, their friendship seems non-existent in the recently released clip.

The footage shows Z-Ro being repeatedly attacked by Trae Tha Truth and his crew while lying on the ground in a fetal position.

Additionally, the video was first shared by a Twitter user named @T_Nealy91 on Monday, August 29.

Later in the clip, we see Z-Ro stand up and raise his fists to attack the attacker. During that time, Trae Tha Truth and several others step forward to verbally threaten Z-Ro.

Fortunately, the sheriff arrived just in time to break up the fight.

Z-Ro opens up about the fight with Trae Tha Truth

Z-Ro, whose real name is Joseph Wayne McVey IV, sat down with TMZ following his messy altercation with Trae Tha Truth and his crew.

He shared his side of the story, claiming he was mugged by Trae’s crew after the 42-year-old rapper asked to speak to him.

The ‘I Can’t Leave Drank Alone’ artist said: ‘I was at the 50 charity dinner on Saturday and some supporters asked me for a photo. Then I saw Trae approaching. He asked if I could Holla. I turned to see who he was talking to and asked if I could follow him to the side of the sprint bus.’

He continued, “I think we do.” [are about] talk like 2 grown men but i got punched. When that happened… several other guys (whom I have nothing to do with) jumped in.’

The 45-year-old rapper then pointed out that the leaked footage doesn’t reveal the whole truth about their fight.

He mentioned, “The circulating video is part of what happened. The beginning I was asked to come to is not shown! At the end of the day I came to the One Deep event to meet my artist Lolita Monreaux. So we could support 50.”
