The TV presenter has made headlines time and again since her show ended. It was clear that Wendy was taking a while to focus on herself, her fans were worried about her.

Recently, news that Wendy was “at death’s door” caused tension among fans, but the reality star is doing better and focusing on herself.

Fear among fans turned to confusion when they came across several articles suggesting that the reality star was “at death’s door”.

When the headlines hit in 2022, many fans thought the outlets were talking about Wendy’s current state. However, the headline referred to Wendy’s health problems in 2020, which resulted in her being hospitalized.

The article was first published by Page Six and its headlines were later changed by other media outlets that reported on it.

Currently, Wendy is doing well and is taking a break from television to focus on her health.

What happened to her in 2020?

According to the outlet, in 2020 Wendy was hospitalized for two blood transfusions. She was also transferred to Beth Israel Hospital in 2021,

Throughout her career, Wendy has been open about her health issues. In 2017, Wendy caught everyone’s attention when she fainted during a live show.

At first, people were confused because some thought he was joking. Wendy, who opened up about the same as CNN, explained that she passed out because she was low on electrolytes. “I’m a 53-year-old middle-aged woman going through what middle-aged women do, if you know what I mean, the costume got hot.” Suddenly, just before passing out, I felt like I was in the middle of a campfire,” she said at the time.
