‘I’ve never read a horror script like this’

Justin recently took time to chat with Bloody Disgusting alongside his co-star Georgina and was asked what drew him to the project:

“It was a script. It was how well the script was written. I have never read such a horror script. You mentioned Tusk; it was like that. I remember having that experience. But he subverted the genre in such an interesting way and started as a well-written romantic comedy.”

He continued: “Then there was this curve ball that I just didn’t see coming. That was so wild. I thought, ‘I really want to be a part of this story.’ I’m a fan of the genre myself, so I wanted to be a part of a great entry into the genre.”

Barbarian is now playing exclusively in theaters.
