“A Heart With a Big Heart”

The film’s director recently sat down for an interview with Movie Web and opened up about the more personal and emotional elements of the film.

“I think at the heart of it is an element of grief after you lose someone and then you climb back up and get back up again.” I think there’s a resonance there, a personal part, but in a broader sense I would say so much about what we’ve been through as a world in the last couple of years.”

He added: “We’ve all kind of gone through this traumatic experience and I think we’re all trying to get out of it. I think it’s weird to have an escape from a trauma-type movie like this that then pumps you up on the other side with a healing message, I think that’s what people can really take away from it…”

Summarizing a few thoughts, he claimed that Fall is “a heart with a big heart… that’s the thing that resonates.”

Fall is now playing in US theaters.
